Today we’d like to introduce you to Xisca Fornés, the Manager of Mallorca Golf Island. She’s been working with the company for over 4 years, and she’s responsible for putting Mallorca on the map as a prime golf destination.

“It’s an honour for me to represent an organisation like Mallorca Golf Island, not only on a European level but also on a global level, and to help promote this Mediterranean jewel – and its warm climate – as a destination for golf lovers all year round”

Xisca Fornés

Regarding the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic in Mallorca, the island has recorded its lowest infection rate since August 2020, continuing to improve daily. The restrictions will begin to ease from March, allowing lots of shops, bars, and gyms to open their doors to the public once again.

It is of utmost importance to us that you feel safe and secure while here to play with complete peace of mind. That’s why all of the courses on the island comply with the strictest anti-Covid-19 protocols and regulations.

Even during a pandemic, playing golf poses a minimal health risk, so Mallorca would like to encourage golfers to continue playing their favourite sport and enjoying the over 20 golf courses there are to choose from on the island, all of which remain open to the public.

We hope to see you very soon!

Spring is a fantastic time of year for exploring Mallorca, thanks to its consistent and pleasant temperature. The island boasts an astonishing variety of incredible landscapes, such as the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, with its breathtaking sea views, hidden coves, caves of stalactites, historic buildings and countless other enchanting places just waiting to be discovered. This particular season, when nature is in full bloom, is when Mallorca is even more special. And what’s more, during March and April you don’t even have to worry about getting wet, as it only rains an average of 5 days each of these months. All of this combines to create the perfect climate for playing golf, hiking or going on a bike ride.

Mallorca offers a wide array of possibilities for playing golf thanks to there being over 20 golf courses spread across the island. Some of them have even been chosen to host important tournaments such as the European Tour.

Mallorca’s golf courses are open 365 days a year.

With the courses located less than one hour away from each other, visitors can tee off at several of the island’s courses all while taking in the spectacular scenery that Mallorca has to offer, with everything from the sea to mountains.

Mallorca’s year-round temperatures of between 15 and 31 degrees make it a golfing paradise, less than two hours by plane from the main European airports and with excellent connections.

As well as its outstanding golf courses, Mallorca Golf Island also features a series of exclusive hotels, guaranteeing that any trip to the island is an unforgettable one.

T Golf & Country Club creates T Foundation

At T Club we believe the adage to whom much is given, much will be required. It’s a noble call to action.

T Foundation will concentrate its efforts to cover these two areas: local animal care and local golf promotion.

To finance the foundation, T Club will be donating one euro per green fee sold. Additionally we will also be organizing a Charity Tournament to raise further funds. As you may know T Yoga runs our classes on a non-profit basis and all donations from students will go to the T Foundation.

Local Animal Care:

With our 5 club donkeys our mission to help and protect animals on Mallorca started. Since then many others have been rescued.

Local Golf Promotion

Mallorca is a golfer’s paradise and we want to make sure to spread the word around the world. That is why we launched the T Foundation to help promote golf on the island.

At this time of year it tends to be windier than usual and this means that the greens are harder and faster. Having a good control of the speed is essential to subtract some strokes to our card. Here you’ll find an exercise to have a better rhythm with the putter

Grab 3 balls and go ahead to the putting green. Make several small and slow practice swings and without aiming to a hole hit all 3 balls trying to do the same length and swing speed as without ball. If you do it properly they should be no more than a foot width apart. Add more distance if it was easy for you.

I hope these tip will help you improve your putting.
